Alphacladding was awarded this project in mid-2025 by Broadmoor LLC, selected by the State of Louisiana to act as General Contractor, with the State of Louisiana as Owner and Arquitectonica as the Architect. Located in downtown Shreveport near the Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeal, Government Plaza, and the Caddo Parish Courthouse, the project represents architectural renewal through a strategic adaptive reuse of an eight-story office building and adjacent parking garage that have been vacant for more than two decades. The redevelopment transforms the existing structure into a modern state office facility through comprehensive recladding and envelope modernization. Alphacladding is delivering a fully engineered façade solution tailored to the complexities of integrating a new high-performance curtain wall and cladding system into an existing structural framework. Our scope includes design development, engineering, fabrication, and installation coordination—requiring precise analysis, field verification, and advanced technical coordination. Beyond its physical transformation, the project will help revitalize downtown Shreveport by returning hundreds of state employees to the city center daily. In a region that has faced significant challenges, including major hurricanes, this investment reflects a renewed commitment to durable infrastructure, long-term stability, and Gulf Coast resilience—strengthening civic pride and supporting sustained economic growth.
